The third grade has had a very busy spring. On May 5, all
students participated in the annual Junior School Sleepover, thanks to the
Tesone family. We played games inside and out, ate pizza, watched movies
and slept a bit. The biggest hit by far was the arrival of the
Pirate Pierogies. They signed autographs and played relay races with
us. We had a fabulous time.
The third grade also just performed their annual musical. The songs
were all about being an American and the freedoms that we have here in America.
It was an excellent play and many thanks go out to Miss Clark and Miss Disbrow
for helping the students.
Finally, the third grade has been learning field hockey skills from Allison
Weinstock, a Form VI student. She has taught them Indian dribble, push
pass and much more. Knowing the rules of the game, the children love to play.
Even Mrs. Hilton will grab a stick and play too. What a great
new game we all now know how to play.
Pictures of the sleepover and play are below.
