This year's book fair was through Joseph Beth Booksellers. Students, parents, and faculty were able to choose from a wide variety of quality books through this newcomer to the Book Fair business. The Book Fair owes its success to chairs, Mary Aiken and Ellen Jones, and a core of dedicated parent volunteers. Our generous families allowed their children to participate by purchasing books for themselves, as well as gift certificates that enabled teachers to buy new books for the classrooms. These classroom gift certificates were almost equal to the profit earned by the library! The profit to the library will pay for our upcoming illustrator visit and new books for the school's Life Skills unit. The annual Book Fair is a wonderful way to show support for the library and to affirm our commitment, as a community, to being lifelong readers.
